I also lurk over on Bear Blog, where I blog about my coding projects. If I ever write about one of the projects listed on this site, it will probably be over there, as I am trying to keep this space devoted to documenting my development. I have a bad habit of frequently changing my username, so if the one on the splash page is broken, oops. When I have used the same blog for a month and settled on a username, I'll fix everything here. Leaving this here as a TODO for future!Dan.

Also in case you missed it on the splash page, I have a StoryGraph that is new as of 2026. Very excited to get over this reading slump and get back to reading again. The wintertime is hard on my brain.

For now, I am using this site to document my learning. I code in JavaScript for portability and because I haven't learned C++ yet, so you can expect to find it baked into the HTML. This site does not use cookies, trackers, or anything other than localStorage to make sure the dark mode toggle persists across pages and interactive fiction stories save properly.

P.S. If you ask a search engine to find me, you will find other Dan Lollars. None of them are this Dan Lollar. One day I will post my email address in case anyone wants to get in contact for me, but I am Not Well at the moment, so that will have to wait until springtime when I am Better.
